How to Manage Product Components and Materials (BOM)

1. Click Library in the left sidebar, then click Products.
2. Click on the product you want to adjust.
3. If applicable, select the relevant product variant.
4. Click the Components tab.
5. Click Add component.
6. Enter the component name in the Name field.
7. To add a material without a saved name, keep Composition selected and enter the composition details (fibre name and percentage).
8. To reference a saved material, select Use existing material instead.
9. Search and select the material from the material library.
10. To add another component, click Add component again and repeat.
11. To create a new material on the fly, click Create Material, enter the name, define the composition (fibre and percentage), optionally assign a supplier, and save it to the library.
12. Assign the newly created material to the relevant component.
13. Click Save to store all component changes.

Components can use either a direct composition entry or a named material from your library — use named materials when the same material appears across multiple products for easier management.
