How to Add Traceability Steps to a Product

  1. Go to Library in the sidebar, then select Products.
  2. Find the product you want to update and click the arrow icon to open its details.
  3. Select the Traceability tab.
  4. Click Add traceability steps.
  5. Click Choose process and select the appropriate traceability step type.
  6. Use the Supplier dropdown to select the supplier (note: the order of steps affects how they appear in the DPP).
  7. Select the facility from the facility dropdown.
  8. If you want to hide this supplier's data from the public DPP traceability view, toggle the visible icon off.
  9. Click Apply to save the step.
  10. Repeat steps 4–9 to add additional traceability steps.
  11. Click Save to apply all changes.

Saved traceability steps appear at the top of the list and can be reordered using drag-and-drop. Variant products automatically inherit traceability steps from the parent product, but individual variants can be customised separately.
