Update Page Content for Multiple Languages

  1. Open Passport Builder and navigate to your experience or custom page.
  2. Locate the language switcher in the editor toolbar.
  3. Click the language switcher and observe the currently active language (e.g., English).
  4. Select a second language (e.g., French) from the language dropdown.
  5. The editor switches to the selected language context.
  6. Observe that untranslated elements display placeholder or fallback content.
  7. Click on a text element and update its content in the selected language.
  8. Repeat for all text elements that require translation.
  9. Update button labels for the selected language.
  10. Update heading text and any static labels.
  11. Switch back to the default language to verify original content is unchanged.
  12. Switch to a third language if applicable and repeat the translation process.
  13. Use preview mode and switch languages to verify translations display correctly.
  14. Check that dynamic variables (e.g., product.title) remain as variables — they are not translated.
  15. Verify the language toggle works for end users in the consumer view.
  16. Click Save to publish the multilingual content.
