The Difference Between Static and Dynamic Content

  1. Open an experience in Passport Builder.
  2. Observe a text element set to static content — its value is fixed regardless of the product.
  3. Note how static content displays the same text for every product linked to this experience.
  4. Click on a dynamic text element to inspect it.
  5. In the content panel, observe the variable syntax (e.g., product.title).
  6. See how dynamic content pulls live data from Brand Cloud.
  7. Add a new text element and enter a static value.
  8. Add another text element and insert a dynamic variable from the variables picker.
  9. Switch to preview mode and select a product.
  10. Observe the static element remains unchanged.
  11. Observe the dynamic element updates with the product's actual data.
  12. Switch to a different product in the preview.
  13. Confirm the dynamic element updates again.
  14. Check product.brand and other variable types available.
  15. Review the variables panel for all available dynamic fields.
  16. Click Save when done editing.
